Pittsfield Community Theatre Announces Closure due to Upgrade to Digital Films
Friday, March 29 to April 5
The Pittsfield Community Theatre is pleased to announce that our theatre will be converting to digital films. To complete the digital conversion and renovations, the Theatre will be closed Friday, March 29 – Thursday, April 4, 2013. The Pittsfield Community Theatre will re-open on Friday, April 5, 2013 with our first digital movie – SNITCH, an action/adventure and suspense/thriller in which a father goes undercover for the DEA in order to free his son who was wrongly imprisoned. At this time, the Pittsfield Community Theatre is the only municipally owned and operated theater in the State.

Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Skills & Seamanship Course

The U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Boating Skills and Seamanship (BS&S) course is a comprehensive course designed for both the experienced and the novice boater. The course, now in its 13th edition published in 2007, consists of 8 core required two hour lessons plus five elective lessons, providing up-to-date knowledge for handling boats in all conditions.
